The host is a very gifted storyteller.

I truly enjoy all of these stories. I love history and the reader really grabs you in every day. They are also the perfect length.

Loving this podcast that I caught onto shortly after The History This Week podcast was put on pause. Lindsay Graham has a very catchy voice and compelling way of telling you about a historical moment. The background music also pulls you into the event. There are ads, but I understand if they have to run them so as to keep the podcast going. This podcast has been a must-listen for me because of the way history is told and I’m learning about moments like never before.

I love the content of this podcast but my one complaint is it has more ads for the short length of the episode then most podcasts.

Thank you for sharing the HTDS episode about the Harlem Hellfighters — what a sad ending for some of those WWI brave soldiers and a sad commentary of Jim Crow that occurred over 100 years ago and is still happening today.

Ads that you receive are catered to your data history, search history and other biographical information. If you are getting a certain type of ad, it’s most likely on you. Also, to those complaining about ads, it’s a free podcast with a subscription based model. You get no ads when you subscribe it’s, in theory a simplistic model to follow

I love the short form and I think they fit a lot of info into a small amount of time. Turns out they are equally talented in cramming in as many ads as possible. It would be impressive if it wasn’t so annoying

I really enjoy this podcast. It’s short and leaves you wanting more, at least for me. Graham captures your attention and I appreciate hearing stories you never think of or haven’t in a long time. Great perspective. I don’t hear “left” or “right”; just history.

Good material, value what you do, but a bit of praise for some achievements and downplay of others which seems intentional and detrimental to history. The first female VP story is a good example. Just a little bias throws a lot of shade on the story. So little mention of the republican vp candidate, more was said of Klobachar, Harris, and Brown.

After listening to almost everything they have out; 10/10. Maybe the only wholesome thing I listen to that is so consistently fantastic. Always well detailed, sound effects are amazing - and it really hits you in a way that makes every part of our history profound. By the way, you got me with the April fools trick. It’s July now and I JUST realized it wasn’t the usual narrator (“I’ve got a cold.”). Anyways, you folks really make my day every day even if it’s for 15-20 minutes - thank you for what you do.

This + Graham’s other podcasts of which I know: ‘American Scandal’ and ‘American History Tellers’ are thoroughly researched and informative while being equally entertaining. He truly brings the stories to life and has a great voice. I don’t know how you manage to do this daily, but I’m very glad you do. Thank you for your great work!

I loooove your podcast and will continue to listen for many years to come (if it is still regularly posting that is). The devotion to the podcast shows through its daily posting which many of the other reviews conveniently forget to ramble about a few mistakes for 4 paragraphs. “Mr. Graham better fire his researcher” is just over exaggerated and needs to stop. Although there were some mistakes that I agreed needed fixing. I have been listening since it’s first week in existence and have enjoyed it a lot. Keep it up!
