My History Happy Place
Mr Graham could make the phone book sound interesting! His ability to enliven history and its importance is engaging and delightful. Anyone who thinks there’s a political slant or motivation is just being too sensitive. History isn’t pretty and facts aren’t always pleasant. History is critical to understanding who we are and the consequences of choices made, both good and bad. If we can’t let our political guard down to self-reflective or historically reflective, we are doomed to repeat our mistakes. Or just as bad, we will fail to improve our world and miss opportunities to make changes that benefit everyone.

July 14
Storming the Bastille was a missed opportunity…no more it’s a continent stuff, boring.
One of my favorite history podcasts
Lindsay Graham has a great voice for a podcast host and the team does a good job of selecting stories and being historically accurate. I really enjoy learning more about the world everyday and leave feeling nostalgic but also wiser. The good sound design is just icing on the cake, definitely recommend
Known an unknown tidbits
In 20 minute segments, Lindsay Graham gives an overview of a historical event that occurred on the same calendar date. I thoroughly enjoyed the episode of June 15, when in 1215, King John signed the Magna Carta. Every American should understand how this event was central to our democracy. I have known generally the meaning of the Magna Carta but the episode provided important context.
History of the Netherlands
The recent “history of the Netherlands” was quite a bomb. You can do better. If you need a narrator to read aloud the brochure from the History of Textiles Museum in Amsterdam, at least get a guy with a Dutch accent, rather than Cockney-English one.
Wonderful podcast
Love Lyndsey graham he’s the best!! I listen to many of his podcasts great story teller!!
Great!
Love this daily history.
Thank you
I’ve gained a lot of knowledge I previously didn’t have from this podcast.I appreciate it,keep it coming.
The rest is history
In a world flush with podcasts and even history podcasts, this one is worth your time. Good production quality, wide range of topics and succinct storytelling that can’t be understated. I don’t understand the complaints about leftist bias when so many episodes are about White Americans and Europeans. Only complaint is ads seem to be increasing in frequency and length.
Awesome
The M-F is awesome. The super long Saturday episodes can become cumbersome.
Love the history
I love this history, hate the Saturday matinee.
Adds
Love the Pod. One big prob. Im a subscriber but still get lots of adds!!!!
History Daily
I love this pod! It is great! You give a short history about things from history, which I love! Unfortunately I would like to point something out. I was listening to President Roosevelt’s Infamy Speech, and you said that the Japanese dropped bomb on aircraft carriers. Actually at Pearl Harbor there were no US carriers. Other then this I love this pod!!!
Lindsay Graham is the best
This supremely talented writer, researcher, musician and storyteller pulls you right into the scenes of history. All of his pods are in my playlist. Bravo!
Short but sweet, nice little tidbits of history.
Only thirty minute videos in words I can understand? I thought I would’nt ever found it, but here I am, listening to this podcast every night! I love this podcast and the soothing voice Lindsay Graham. I am also loving the no-cuss child-friendly ratings. I strongly recommend this podcast and also strongly support it.
Short episodes, great content.
Listening to this you literally have the chance to learn something new every single day. Another great podcast from Lindsay A. Graham.
Outstanding must listen.
I’m a history wonk. I learn something new every day. Subscribe and support. Something this good must be supported!
Great way to start the day
I listen to each day’s podcast on my commute. Inevitably I learn something I did not know, even on days who’s history is seared in my memory. Highly recommend this if you’re a history buff.
Great podcast
I’ve been listening to the podcast ever since they’ve come out they are definitely with your time to listen to very informative and to the point keep up the good work Lindsey
Love the content and the narrations. Not such a fan of the music.
This is a very informative and enjoyable podcast. If the music could be toned down during the interludes and at the end, it would be so much better. This is a very jarring world and the loud, jarring music is uncomfortable to hear.
Daily History
Just discovered this podcast and immediately found it highly interesting. Consider me a regular listener!
